CASH (formerly SSAM) serves as a meeting place and idea exchange for skeptics, secular humanists, atheists, agnostics and freethinkers of the Savannah area. The group provides a safe space for non-religious discourse. The group is still relatively new, so new members' input is essential for shaping the direction of the group going forward in regards to potential event series, goals of the group, etc.

We are an organization of atheists, agnostics, skeptics and other freethinkers based in Charleston, South Carolina. Please note that not all of us have accounts on Meetup.com. From the RSVPs here, it may look as if only a handful of people are planning to attend, but our regular monthly meetings usually draw between 20 and 50 people. The book group meetings usually draw 10 to 15.

This is a groups for those of us who are super thinkers and feel the need to share our thoughts on various subjects. I started this group because I am a thinker myself! I can't stop challenging things I hear or read about, things I learn and things I see. I like that about myself, and I know I'm not alone. So come join me and let's discuss our thoughts!
