Hi, folks! The other day I head NPR interview Clay Johnson, the author of a new book called The Information Diet. It's about how we can take conscious measures to overcome our natural tendency toward confirmation bias, i.e., only seeking out and taking in information that reinforces what we already believe. This has motivated me to start a study group. Beyond discussing the book itself, we could meet in an ongoing way to assist one another in overcoming bias.
